A digital media scholar with more than ten years’ experience in qualitative research at top universities in Poland, Belgium and the UK, including EU Marie Curie Individual Fellowship in the LSE Department of Media and Communications. Specialized in critical and cultural studies with focus on LGBTQ digital media studies at the intersection of identity, nationalism and transnationalism. Board member of International Communication Association and co-chair of its LGBTQ Interest Group, author of the book Transnational Homosexuals in Communist Poland (2018, Palgrave) and co-editor of the collection LGBTQs, Media and Culture in Europe (2017, Routledge).
